In an exchange filing, the company announced a final dividend payout of Rs 28 per equity share.
This translates to a 2800 per cent payout, calculated on the face value of Rs 1 per share.
“The Board of Directors has also recommended a final dividend of Rs 28 per equity share of face value of Re 1 each for the financial year ended December 31, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting,” the company said in an exchange filing dated February 13.
In simpler terms, if an investor owns 100 shares of the stock, they will be eligible to receive Rs 2,800 as dividend income, provided the shares are held before the ex-dividend date.

In another exchange filing, the company announced April 13 as the record date for determining shareholders eligible for the dividend. Readers should also note that the ex-dividend date is expected to fall one trading day before the record date.
The company further added, “For payment of the final dividend for the financial year 2025, if approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company scheduled to be held on April 17, 2026, the dividend will be paid on April 23, 2026.”

On the BSE, the share price of the analytical company settled 1.3 per cent or Rs 55.1 lower at Rs 4,165.40 on Friday (March 13).
CRISIL Ltd’s stock has shown short-term weakness, declining over the past week, month, and six months, with losses nearing 17 per cent over the six-month period.
However, its long-term performance remains strong, delivering gains of about 28 per cent over the past three years and more than 130 per cent over the last decade.
