7 H-1B workers inside a mailbox: US reporter claims ‘fraud’ involving software engineers in Texas

Seven H-1B workers inside a mailbox. That is the striking claim made by a US social media influencer after an on-ground visit to a Texas company raised questions about possible visa fraud.A user known as “Based Jessica” posted on X alleging “irregularities” involving Innovative Data Analytics Group LLC in Plano, Texas. According to her post, seven H-1B visa workers were approved to work at the firm, which is listed as employing software engineers. However, she claimed the company had no website and was stationed in a small mailbox rather than a functioning office of 7 people. In a video shared online, BlazeTV’s conservative political commentator Sara Gonzales is seen attempting to locate the business at its registered address. When she checks Suite 78, she finds only a mailbox instead of an active workplace. After the discovery, she went straight to the company owner to ask where the listed employees are and if they are genuinely working at the site. The reporter visits the residential address of the company’s owner, Uma Devi. During the interaction, Devi confirms that the company is in her name but struggles to provide clarity about its operations or the employees’ whereabouts. When asked about the workers, Devi says they are at the “office” but admits she does not know the “exact address”. After being told that suite 78 had already been checked, the reporter confronts Devi, asking if the workers are inside the mailbox. Devi responds, “No” and adds that she would need to check with her husband. After the exchange, the reporter concluded that the business owner appears to have ‘no idea’ about her own company. The video and its claims have made some users question a potential H-1B visa fraud operation in Texas.
