Acme Solar informed the exchanges on Thursday that its board has approved the allotment of 10.01 crore equity shares to eligible qualified institutional buyers.
The issue price was fixed at ₹279.50 per share, representing a discount of nearly 5% to the stock’s previous closing price prior to the QIP launch.
Among the key investors participating in the fundraise were domestic institutional players including Nippon India Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, SBI Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund and Kotak Mutual Fund.
The company said the proceeds from the issue will primarily be used for debt reduction and other general corporate purposes.
The successful completion of the QIP is expected to strengthen Acme Solar’s balance sheet by lowering leverage and providing additional financial flexibility to support future growth plans.
Shares of Acme Solar Holdings ended Thursday’s session 4.9% higher at ₹345.25. The stock has surged more than 45% so far in 2026.
