The project involves the construction of a six-lane bi-directional flyover crossing TKR College Junction, Gayatri Nagar Junction and Mandamallamma Junction under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model on a turnkey basis. According to the company, the project is scheduled to be completed within 24 months.
The order adds to KNR Constructions’ already healthy order book and comes at a time when infrastructure spending continues to remain a key focus area for both state and central governments. While the stock traded largely unchanged following the announcement, investors are likely to track the impact of fresh order wins on execution visibility and future revenue growth.
The latest contract follows another significant project win earlier this year. In March, KNR Constructions secured a Letter of Award from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) project worth ₹1,734 crore in Telangana.
The NHAI project involves the four-laning of NH-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar on the Hyderabad-Panaji corridor, covering a stretch of about 80 kilometres. The order reinforced the company’s position in the roads segment, which continues to account for the largest share of its project portfolio.

As of March 31, 2026, KNR Constructions reported a consolidated order book of ₹11,903 crore, including recently secured HAM projects, providing revenue visibility for the next three to three-and-a-half years. Roads account for nearly half of the order book, followed by mining, irrigation and pipeline projects.
