Nucleus Software rallies 18% on Indonesia's Azentra partnership, deepens Southeast Asia presence

Shares of Nucleus Software Exports Ltd. jumped as much as 18% on Wednesday, June 10, after the company announced a strategic partnership with Indonesia-based Azentra Solusi Digital to strengthen its presence in the Southeast Asian market and accelerate digital transformation initiatives for banks and financial institutions in the country.

In an exchange filing, the company said the collaboration marks the next phase of its growth strategy in Indonesia, where it has been serving banks and financial institutions for nearly two decades.

The partnership will combine Nucleus Software’s lending and transaction banking platforms with Azentra’s local market expertise, consulting capabilities and implementation strengths to support banks as they modernise their operations.

The two companies will jointly help financial institutions modernise end-to-end lending operations, strengthen transaction banking and cash management capabilities, improve operational agility, and build scalable digital banking ecosystems.

“Indonesia has been an important market for Nucleus Software for nearly two decades and remains one of the most promising banking markets in Southeast Asia,” said Dr Apurva Chamaria, Chief Business Officer at Nucleus Software.

“As financial institutions accelerate modernisation initiatives across lending and transaction banking, success increasingly depends on combining global technology capabilities with strong local execution,” he added.

Chamaria said the partnership reflects Nucleus Software’s long-term commitment to Indonesia and its belief that transformation is most effective when “world-class platforms are complemented by deep local expertise.”

Indonesia is emerging as one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing banking markets, driven by rising digital adoption, evolving customer expectations, regulatory reforms and increasing demand for scalable banking technology platforms, the company said.

The partnership will also include joint go-to-market initiatives, customer workshops, executive roundtables and industry engagement programmes aimed at supporting Indonesian financial institutions through the next phase of banking transformation.

Remon Pelenkahu, Sales Director at Azentra Solusi Digital, said the partnership would bring globally recognised banking technology capabilities to Indonesian financial institutions.

“By combining Nucleus Software’s deep domain expertise in lending and transaction banking with Azentra’s understanding of local market dynamics and implementation capabilities, we are well-positioned to help banks accelerate transformation, improve customer experiences, and create long-term business value,” he said.

Nucleus Software currently serves more than 200 banks and financial institutions across 50 countries through its lending platform FinnOne Neo and transaction banking suite FinnAxia. The company said its solutions manage over $15 trillion worth of transactions annually and more than $1.2 trillion in loans globally.
