The company, in an exchange filing dated May 5, declared a final dividend payout of Rs 75 for the financial year ending March 31, which translates to a dividend payout of 3,750 per cent against a face value of Rs 2.

“The Board of Directors, at its meeting held today, viz. May 5, 2026, has considered and approved a final dividend, subject to the approval of the members, of 3,750 per cent, i.e. Rs 75 per equity share (face value of Rs 2 per share),” the company said.

In simpler terms, it means that if an investor owns around 100 shares of this company, they would be eligible to receive Rs 7,500 as a dividend payout.

The auto company has announced July 24 as the record date for the above-mentioned corporate action.

The record date is the cut-off date set by a company to determine which shareholders are eligible to receive dividends or other corporate benefits announced by the company.

“…the company has fixed the record date as July 24, 2026, for the purpose of determining the entitlement of the members for the final dividend,” it said.

Hero MotoCorp has demonstrated a consistent dividend-paying track record over the years, reinforcing its reputation as a shareholder-friendly company. The automobile major has regularly announced both interim and final dividends, including Rs 75 (Jul 2026), Rs 110 (Feb 2026), Rs 65 (Jul 2025), Rs 100 (Feb 2025), and Rs 40 (Aug 2024).

The stock, with a market capitalisation of Rs 97,156.13 crore, ended nearly flat at Rs 4,855.55 on the BSE in the previous trading session.
