FIIs buy ₹102 crore, DIIs add ₹1,561 crore as markets climb for fourth day


Foreign investors remained net buyers for a second time in three sessions, while DIIs infused ₹1,561 crore, helping benchmark indices extend gains for a fourth consecutive trading day.

Foreign investors remained net buyers in Indian equities on Wednesday, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) continued to provide strong support, helping benchmark indices extend gains for a fourth straight session.

According to provisional exchange data, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought equities worth ₹101.59 crore, while DIIs were net buyers to the tune of ₹1,561.40 crore.

DIIs purchased shares worth ₹16,611.87 crore and sold ₹15,050.47 crore during the session. FPIs, meanwhile, bought equities worth ₹14,806.30 crore and sold shares worth ₹14,704.71 crore.
