In a recent interview, while discussing her starring role in the superhero film, the actress dove deep into her tattoos and their meanings.

While talking with the hosts of ‘Last Meals’, the rising star got candid about her tattoos and what they really mean to her. While talking about the art tattooed on her skin, Alcock confessed that it all means a lot more to her than simply ‘art.’She casually stated that she has around 20 tattoos on her body, and that they are extremely personal to her. Talking about their importance, she mentioned how an actor’s body becomes a ‘service’ to others. “Being an actor, my body is my tool, but also my body’s in service of other people and a character and whoever I need to be.”Further on, she said that the tattoos help her preserve her identity. She added, “There’s something very grounding about it at the end of the day, taking it all off, and it’s my skin, you know? It’s personalized to me.”Additionally, the ink is simply ‘addictive’ for the star as she admitted that she wants to get another tattoo as soon as possible. “They’re also just really addictive. I want to get another one”, she joked when the host asked what she is doing after the show’s filming.

As for her career, the rising star who has shot to fame for her latest roles, talked about traveling for her work. She mentioned during the interview that leaving Australia has been a great experience for her. Moreover, she added that “I think that living in a different country and traveling so much, you become this collage of everywhere that you’re from and who you are in the center of that. So I think we’re always in flux.

Over the past couple of days, ahead of the release of ‘Supergirl’, Alcock has been actively sharing details about the filming process. From what went down behind the scenes to her thoughts on the film. Moreover, she even talked about the famous cape that she seems to be wearing in almost all of the scenes that have been revealed in the trailer. While discussing it on the ‘Raiders of the Lost’ podcast, Alcock revealed that the cape is one of the most historically significant things in the film. She admitted that her cape is made from the same material as the ‘Superman’ cape, which was used in the 1978 film. She added, “Yeah, I think that they found there was like 16 meters of that material, so yeah, that’s in the back of my cape now.”At the time, Christopher Reeve was playing the role of the beloved superhero, Superman, in the film franchise. The late actor also donned the cape in the sequels that followed, including ‘Superman II,’ which was released in 1980, ‘Superman III’ in 1983, and lastly ‘Superman IV: The Quest for Peace’, which was released in 1987. The actor passed away in 2004 after suffering a heart failure event and cardiac arrest.
