Largest intake is in Electrical with 221 posts followed by Civil with 178 and Mechanical with 145 positions. System has 43 posts, Electronics & Communication 38, Geology 15, Industrial Engineering 11, Rajbhasha 05 and Company Secretary 04.Eligibility age limit and application feeApplicants must possess B.Tech or degree in relevant discipline as specified in notification. Upper age limit is 30 years as on 30 April 2026 with relaxation applicable as per rules. Application fee is 1180 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates while SC, ST, PwBD and CIL employees are exempted. Fee includes 1000 plus 180 rupees GST and must be paid online.Selection process and CBT patternSelection will be based solely on Computer-Based Test followed by document verification and medical examination. Paper-I includes general knowledge, reasoning, numerical ability and English language. Paper-II covers professional knowledge related to respective discipline. Each paper carries 100 questions and 100 marks with three hour duration and no negative marking. Exam will be bilingual in English and Hindi with qualifying marks set.Salary and bond detailsSelected candidates will receive pay scale of 60000 to 180000 in E-1 Grade with initial pay of 60000. Allowances include Dearness Allowance, HRA, performance related pay, medical facilities and pension benefits as per company rules.
