HCLTech, Circles and GreySkies join TM Forum Catalyst Program for AI telecom framework


IT services company HCLTech Ltd on Tuesday (June 23) said the company, Circles and GreySkies have announced their participation in the TM Forum Catalyst Program, a collaborative innovation initiative that brings together communication service providers (CSPs) and technology partners to develop and showcase next-generation solutions for the telecommunications industry.

As part of the program, the three companies are working with telecom operators, including Circles.Life, KDDI, Orange and TELUS to develop an AI-powered multi-agent framework.

The framework is designed to unify customer experience, network operations and business processes into an intelligent, real-time operational ecosystem. According to the companies, the solution aims to accelerate end-to-end automation, enhance service assurance and improve customer engagement while creating new monetisation opportunities through AI-driven insights.

The initiative combines Circles’ AI-native digital telco platform and customer engagement capabilities with GreySkies’ AI-enabled network operations and HCLTech’s AI-led automation capabilities. These components are integrated through TM Forum Open APIs within an Open Digital Architecture (ODA) framework.

The companies said the solution will enable telecom service providers to analyse customer and network signals in real time, anticipate issues and support autonomous decision-making across the enterprise.

The framework is also designed to support the transition to self-optimising networks by combining advanced AI capabilities with open, standards-based architectures. It is intended to improve operational efficiency, accelerate insight-to-action and enhance customer lifetime value.

Shares of HCL Technologies Ltd ended at ₹1,109.90, down by ₹20.20, or 1.79%, on the BSE.
