Parag Parikh Flexi Cap vs Quant Flexi Cap Mutual Fund: The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) released its monthly data for May 2026. AMFI reported that monthly SIP contributions declined to Rs 30,954 crore in May 2026, compared with Rs 31,115 crore in the previous month, indicating a marginal month-on-month decrease. Total AUM stood at Rs 81.58 lakh crore compared to Rs 81.92 lakh crore MoM. Equity Assets Under Management (AUM) rose to Rs 36.14 lakh crore in May 2026 from Rs 35.74 lakh crore in the previous month.

Among the 11 sub-categories, flexi cap funds remained investors’ favourite, attracting the highest inflow of Rs 5,175 crore in May, compared with a record-high inflow of Rs 10,147 crore in April.

As per the AMFI March 2026 mutual fund data released in April 2026, the flexi cap mutual fund category attracted inflows of Rs. 10,054 crore. Within the equity mutual funds category, flexi-cap funds recorded the largest inflows for the eighth consecutive month.

The category added approximately 2.19 lakh folios in May, even as some existing investors redeemed or rebalanced their holdings. AUM rose by around Rs 4,530 crore month-on-month, a gain of 0.8%.
