Avenue Supermarts said its total store count stood at 503 as of June 30, 2026. This includes one store at Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, which is currently closed to customers due to reconstruction.
Earlier, Karan Taurani, Executive Vice President at Elara Capital, told CNBC-TV18 that he sees Avenue Supermarts, which operates D-Mart stores, maintaining growth through expansion into newer markets.
Avenue Supermarts had reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹13,711.87 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2024, and ₹11,584.44 crore in the corresponding quarter ended June 30, 2023. In the March quarter, the retailer reported a mixed set of numbers. Net profit for Q4 came in at ₹656.6 crore, while the Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) stood at ₹1,210.5 crore.
The stock of Avenue Supermarts ended at ₹4,184 on Thursday, up 3.34%. The shares have gained over 12% in the year so far.
