Enviro Infra wins ₹257 crore sewage treatment projects in Uttar Pradesh


Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd has received two Letters of Acceptance (LoAs) from Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Rural) for sewage treatment projects under the Namami Gange Programme, with a combined order value of ₹256.92 crore (excluding GST).

In two separate NSE filings, the company said the projects will be executed through its special purpose vehicles (SPVs) – Varanasi Lohta STP Private Limited and Varanasi DDU Nagar STP Private Limited, which were incorporated on June 17, 2026.

The first LoA, valued at ₹130.14 crore, is for the development of a 60 MLD sewage treatment plant and associated infrastructure at Lohta, Varanasi, on a Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) basis.

The project is scheduled to be completed in 21 months, followed by three months of trial operations and 15 years of operation and maintenance (O&M). Varanasi Lohta STP Private Limited will work as SPV for the project.
The second project, worth ₹126.78 crore, involves the development of a 45 MLD sewage treatment plant and associated infrastructure at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar (DDU Nagar), Uttar Pradesh, also under the HAM model.

It has an 18-month construction period, followed by three months of trial operations and 15 years of O&M.

Earlier on May 27, Delhi-based water treatment company had said its step-down subsidiary Suyog Urja Ltd (SUL) has been awarded a ₹207.47-crore (excluding GST) contract for land aggregation and balance of plant (BoP) works for a hybrid renewable energy project.

The contract, dated May 27, 2026, has been awarded by CGE 30 Hybrid Energy Private Ltd. The scope includes land aggregation and development, along with balance of plant works for a hybrid renewable energy project comprising wind and solar components.

Shares of Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd ended 3.31% higher at ₹235.99 on the NSE on Friday.
