Anthropic has extended its Claude Fable 5 promotional offer through July 12. As part of the offer, Claude subscribers will be able to use the latest Fable 5 AI model at no extra cost. The company said the limited-time offer will now remain available until July 12, 2026, at 11:59 pm PT. As announced by Anthropic, the promotion is available to users on Pro, Max, Team and eligible seat-based Enterprise plans. During the promotional period, subscribers can access Claude Fable 5 without paying an additional fee until they reach their usage limits under their existing plans. The extension comes as Anthropic continues expanding access to its newest AI model for eligible customers. How to access Claude Fable 5
One can access Claude Fable 5 on:
- Claude on the web
- Claude Mobile
- Claude Desktop
- Claude Cowork
- Claude Code
- Claude Design
- Claude for Microsoft 365
- Claude for Teams
- Claude Tag
In Claude on the web, Claude Desktop, and Claude Mobile, select “Fable 5” from the model picker. In Claude Code, Fable 5 requires version 2.1.170 or later. To use Fable 5 in Claude Cowork, you need to be on the latest version of Claude Desktop.
When you reach your Fable 5 weekly limit
Once you use up to 50% of your weekly limit on Fable 5, you can continue in one of two ways for the rest of the promotional period:
- Use usage credits to keep using Claude Fable 5. Usage credits let you pay for usage beyond what your plan includes, and they’re billed separately from your subscription.
- Switch to another Claude model to keep working within your remaining plan usage limits.

Claude Fable 5 promitional offer: What’s not included
As explained by the company, the promotion doesn’t apply to:
- Standard seats on seat-based Enterprise plans
- Usage-based Enterprise plans
API usage . Access to Claude Fable 5 through the Claude API is billed separately at standard rates.
Seat-based Enterprise plansIf your organization is on a legacy seat-based Enterprise plan, access to Claude Fable 5 depends on your seat type and whether your organization has enabled usage credits:
- Standard seats: Standard seats don’t include Fable 5. All Fable 5 usage draws from usage credits, so Fable 5 works only if your organization has enabled usage credits. If usage credits aren’t enabled, Fable 5 won’t work for your users.
- Premium seats: During the promotional period, Fable 5 is included in your subscription and draws from each member’s seat usage at no extra cost. After the promotion ends, your team can keep using Fable 5 by enabling usage credits.
What happens when the promotion ends
