Rs 2,500 Crore investment plan in South Africa

Natco Pharma announced investments of nearly Rs 2,500 crore in South Africa, including an infusion of Rs 1,400 crore into its subsidiary in the country.

Price hike across SUVs, commercial vehicles

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd announced that it will increase prices of its SUVs by an average of 2.7 per cent and its commercial vehicle range by an average of 2 per cent, effective July 10, to offset higher commodity costs.

Higher crude steel production and deliveries

The company reported India’s crude steel production increased 11.3 per cent to 5.82 million tonnes (MT), compared with 5.23 MT. While India’s crude steel delivery volumes rose 8.84 per cent to 5.17 MT, compared with 4.75 MT.

Rs 950 crore capacity expansion

HFCL plans to invest Rs 950 crore over the next two years to expand its optical fibre cable production capacity.

Renewable capacity crosses 14.5 GW

JSW Energy announced the commissioning of 1,081 MW of renewable energy capacity since April 2026, taking its total installed capacity to 14,535 MW.

Nagpur airport expansion plan

GMR Airports Ltd unveiled a multi-phase modernisation and expansion roadmap for the Nagpur International Airport.

MD reappointed for two years

Fortis Healthcare Ltd said its board has approved the reappointment of Ashutosh Raghuvanshi as Managing Director for a further term of two years, effective March 19, 2027.

Stainless steel JV with PT Krakatau steel

SAIL and Indonesia-based PT Krakatau Steel will explore the establishment of a joint venture to manufacture stainless steel slabs.

1 MWh battery storage system commissioned

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd announced the commissioning of a 1 MWh battery energy storage system at its Kharkhoda manufacturing facility in Haryana.
