One 97 Communications, the parent entity that operates the fintech platform Paytm, reported its earnings for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27. The company reported a 78.8 per cent year-on-year increase in its consolidated profit after tax, which stood at Rs 220 crore. The same stood at Rs 123 crore in the year-ago period.
Vijay Shekhar Sharma-led company’s revenue from operations was up 27.6 per cent YoY to Rs 2,448 crore compared to Rs 1,918 crore posted in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) in came in at Rs 203 crore in the April-June quarter, significantly surging by 181.94 per cent YoY. It was at Rs 72 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA margin improved to 8.29 per cent in Q4 FY27 against 3.75 per cent in the same quarter of the preceeding year.

One 97 Communications ended at Rs 1,348.50, up Rs 0.50 or 0.04 % from the previous close of Rs 1,347.50, on the BSE.
