InterGlobe Aviation, the parent of India’s largest airline IndiGo, reported a mixed set of standalone earnings for the June quarter (Q1 FY27), with strong revenue growth offset by a sharp decline in profitability due to higher operating costs.
InterGlobe Aviation reported a net loss of Rs 382 crore for the quarter ended June, compared with a net profit of Rs 2,161 crore in Q1 FY26, marking a 118 per cent YoY decline. On a sequential basis, the loss narrowed significantly from Rs 2,662 crore reported in Q4 FY26, improving 86 per cent.
The airline’s revenue from operations rose 20% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 24,584 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 20,496 crore a year earlier. Sequentially, revenue increased 10% from Rs 22,438 crore in Q4 FY26.
