Actress Keerthy Suresh and Trisha Krishnan were also spotted arriving at the theatres.Interestingly, a report by PTI also suggests Vijay himself watched ‘Jana Nayagan’ during a special screening, a day prior to its official opening.

Love you loads!!” Speaking of the trade side of the film, ‘Jana Nayagan’ according to trade analyst Sacnilk, the live numbers show it has minted over Rs 22.84 crore in India across 9,713 shows.
What trade analysts say about ‘Jana Nayagan’
In a conversation with ETimes, film trade analyst Komal Nahta shared his reaction to the film’s box office prospects. He said that Jana Nayagan will “do hit business in Tamil,” but added that the Hindi dubbed version is unlikely to perform well. Nahta also agreed that the film serves as a fitting send-off to Vijay’s acting career, as it marks his final outing on the big screen.As things stand the film stays behind Vijay’s last film, ‘The Greatest Of All Time’ or simple ‘GOAT’ which minted over Rs 44 crore on the opening day.Etimes also spoke with trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who shared that he believes that ‘Jana Nayagan’ is expected to set a new “benchmark” as far as the opening of the film is concerned. When asked about the film’s reception in the North India market, he shared that it’s too early to comment as the film is still on its first day in theatres. He added that a mid-week release is not the right parameter to judge a film’s success and that a clearer picture will emerge from Friday onwards.
