Shares of Dr Lal PathLabs rose as much as 7.7% on Monday, July 27, to a 52-week high, after brokerage firm Nomura raised its target price on the diagnostics company following a stronger-than-expected June-quarter performance.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 29% to ₹247.5 crore, with margin expanding to 31% from 28.7% a year ago.

The company recently acquired an 80% stake in Sunshine Healthcare in Ghana for ₹37.7 crore to strengthen its presence in West Africa and plans to add 12-15 laboratories and 3-4 radiology centres during FY27.
