The company’s total sales include domestic sales of 54,210 units, which grew 23.3% compared with July last year. Exports increased 31.4% year-on-year to 21,150 units, marking Hyundai’s highest monthly export volume in more than 100 months.
Hyundai said the July performance was its highest-ever monthly volume since inception.
The company’s popular SUV, Hyundai Creta, recorded its highest monthly sales for calendar year 2026, with 18,088 units sold in July. Hyundai i20 also posted its highest monthly sales for CY26 at 6,738 units.
Commenting on the performance, Tarun Garg, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India, said the company’s record monthly volumes reflected continued consumer confidence in the brand and highlighted the strength of its export operations.
Hyundai’s July performance comes amid a broader recovery in passenger vehicle demand, with automakers reporting improved volumes during the month.
