IIRM Holdings announces ₹150 crore fundraise led by Carpediem Capital, Sanshi Fund-I


IIRM Holdings India has announced plans to raise ₹1,500 million (₹150 crore) through a mix of equity shares and fully convertible warrants, with the investment led by Carpediem Capital and Sanshi Fund-I.

The proposed fundraise will be carried out at an issue price of ₹143.28 per security and remains subject to shareholder approval, along with other statutory and regulatory clearances.

According to the company, the proceeds will be used to fund business expansion, strategic acquisitions, capital expenditure and working capital requirements.

Hyderabad-based IIRM Holdings is a BSE-listed holding company with operations across India, Singapore, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Kenya. Its flagship subsidiary, India Insure Risk Management and Insurance Broking Services Pvt. Ltd., has been operating in the insurance broking business since 2003.

The company said it handled gross written premium (GWP) of more than ₹1,600 crore in FY26 through its operating companies. It currently has 18 offices, over 500 employees and serves around 2,000 corporate clients and nearly 100,000 retail customers across its markets.

IIRM said it is pursuing a strategy of organic growth alongside acquisitions and is in the process of consolidating multiple insurance brokers in India and overseas as part of its expansion plans.

Commenting on the investment, Ramakrishna V, IIRM Chairman, said the capital infusion would support the company’s expansion strategy and acquisition plans.Hithendra Ramachandran, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Carpediem Capital, said the investment firm sees consolidation opportunities in India’s insurance broking sector, while Sanshi Fund-I Founder Saranya Agarwal said the fund backed IIRM’s growth strategy and management team.

The company said the capital raise comes amid growing demand for insurance distribution, risk advisory and employee wellbeing solutions across Asia and other high-growth markets.
