For the first quarter, net profit increased 10.4% year-on-year to ₹1,927 crore, compared with ₹1,746 crore in the same period last year. Net interest income (NII) rose 9.8% to ₹1,970 crore from ₹1,794 crore a year ago.
Assets under management (AUM) stood at ₹4.79 lakh crore, compared with ₹4.85 lakh crore in the preceding quarter.
Chairman and Managing Director Manoj Kumar Dubey said the June quarter marked a strong start to FY27, with the company delivering its highest-ever quarterly revenue, net worth and profitability. He said the performance reflects the success of IRFC’s ‘IRFC 2.0’ diversification strategy, while maintaining a zero-NPA and high-quality asset book.Looking ahead, the company expects its diversification strategy to support stronger spreads and profitability through FY27. IRFC said it has a healthy pipeline of opportunities across mobility and allied sectors linked to the railway ecosystem and remains focused on prudent risk management while preserving its zero-NPA record.
