The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has kept interest rates unchanged even as inflationary concerns persisted. Announcing the first bi-monthly monetary policy for the current fiscal, RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said that the Monetary Policy Committee has unanimously decided to retain the repo rate at 5.25%. While the RBI also retained its ‘neutral’ stance, some banks have revised their fixed deposit (FD) rates. Among those who have revised their interest rates are Bandhan Bank, Yes Bank, Punjab National Bank, ⁠Central Bank of India, Union Bank of India and more. (Image X)
