The company’s net interest income (NII) increased 15.2% year-on-year to ₹1,146 crore from ₹995 crore in Q1 FY26.
Operating profit stood at ₹907 crore during the quarter, registering a 17% year-on-year growth. Profit after tax increased 37% sequentially during the quarter.

The company’s mutual fund quarterly average assets under management (QAAUM) stood at ₹12.6 trillion, up 11% year-on-year for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. SBI Funds Management continued to rank as the largest mutual fund manager in the industry, with a market share of 15.1%.
Actively managed equity QAAUM stood at ₹8.6 trillion, increasing 10% year-on-year, with a market share of 12.5%. Passive QAAUM increased 12% year-on-year to ₹4 trillion, with a market share of 27.4%, maintaining the company’s number one position in the segment.
Alternate assets under management (AUM), comprising alternative investment funds (AIF), portfolio management services (PMS), advisory and offshore funds, stood at ₹16.5 trillion. AIF QAAUM stood at around ₹6,800 crore, up 29% year-on-year.

Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) AUM increased 15% year-on-year to ₹2 trillion as of June 30, 2026, with a market share of 12.3%. The company’s unique customers stood at 1.82 crore, up 12% year-on-year, while total live folios increased 14% to 2.2 crore as of June 30, 2026.
The company’s customer base continued to expand, with 18.2 million unique investors, 16 million live systematic investment plans (SIPs) and 22.3 million total mutual fund investor folios. Individual customers from beyond top 30 (B-30) cities stood at 12.7 million.
SBI Funds Management had 122 mutual fund schemes in its product suite during the quarter, including 35 equity-oriented schemes, 36 debt schemes and 43 exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and index fund schemes. The company launched six new schemes in Q1 FY27.

SBI Funds Management is India’s largest mutual fund house, managing assets worth ₹12.5 lakh crore and commanding a 15.3% share of the domestic mutual fund industry. The company is a joint venture between SBI and Amundi, Europe’s largest asset manager.
