Stocks to Watch Today, August 4: Several stocks are expected to remain in focus on Tuesday (August 4) after reporting June-quarter earnings and announcing key corporate developments. SBI Funds Management, Torrent Power, KEI Industries, DLF, Jindal Stainless and Ather Energy reported their quarterly results.
While LIC, Bharat Electronics, ONGC, ITC, KP Energy and others made announcements related to stake sales, acquisitions, partnerships and project developments that could keep their shares in the spotlight.

Profit, Revenue Increase
SBI Funds Management reported a 3.7 per cent rise in profit to Rs 880.3 crore from Rs 848.8 crore, while revenue increased 15.2 per cent to Rs 1,152.7 crore.
Profit Declines
Torrent Power reported a 12.7 per cent decline in profit to Rs 638.9 crore from Rs 731.4 crore. Revenue rose 2.8 per cent to Rs 8,124.2 crore.
Profit Surges
Texmaco Rail and Engineering reported a 66.8 per cent jump in profit to Rs 50 crore from Rs 30 crore, while revenue declined 16.9 per cent to Rs 756.7 crore.
Profit Rises
Kansai Nerolac Paints reported a 4.8 per cent increase in profit to Rs 231.6 crore from Rs 220.9 crore. Revenue grew 9.8 per cent to Rs 2,373.6 crore.
Strong Earnings
KEI Industries reported a 40 per cent surge in profit to Rs 274.1 crore from Rs 195.7 crore, while revenue increased 23 per cent to Rs 3,185.3 crore.
Loss Narrows
Ather Energy reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 51.09 crore in the June quarter. Wholesales increased 81 per cent to 83,173 units from 46,078 units.
DLF
Profit Up, Revenue Down
DLF reported a 4.1 per cent increase in profit to Rs 793.9 crore from Rs 762.7 crore, while revenue declined 52.9 per cent to Rs 1,280.3 crore.
Profit Grows
Jindal Stainless reported a 7.6 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 769 crore. Revenue from operations rose 10.5 per cent YoY to Rs 11,279 crore.
Backs FDI Move
ICICI Lombard said the government’s decision to allow full foreign ownership in the insurance sector could help make insurance covers cheaper for the common man.
Bharat Electronics said Esri India has signed an agreement with the company to collaborate on defence projects involving GIS, location intelligence and GeoAI.
LIC
Government Plans OFS
The government said it will sell up to a 6.5 per cent stake in LIC at a floor price of Rs 382 per share through a two-day offer for sale beginning Tuesday.
Signs Wind PPA
KP Energy announced the signing of a power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam for a 100 MW grid-connected wind power project.
ONGC said half of its 1.75 million-tonne petroleum storage facility at Mangaluru will be reserved for strategic petroleum reserves, while the remaining capacity will be used commercially.
Order Book Update
Aastha Spintex said Falcon Yarns, acquired recently, has a cumulative order book of around Rs 51.46 crore, with demand visibility through October 2026.
Hospital Acquisition
Park Medi World announced the acquisition of Mehar Hospital, Zirakpur, in an all-cash transaction valued at Rs 107 crore.
ITC
Acquires Century Pulp and Paper
ITC said the acquisition of Century Pulp and Paper for Rs 3,498 crore makes it India’s largest integrated paperboards and paper business.
NTPC
Signs 750 MW Power Purchase Agreement
Evren announced the signing of a 750 MW power purchase agreement with NTPC for solar, wind and battery energy storage projects in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan.
