Salman Khan begins Mumbai schedule for Vamshi Paidipally’s ‘SVC63’ as makers dismiss fee reports as fake news: ‘Purely speculative and factually incorrect’

Salman Khan’s upcoming action entertainer with director Vamshi Paidipally is back in the spotlight for two major reasons. While the makers have officially dismissed recent reports about the actor’s remuneration as “fake news,” the superstar is also preparing to begin a crucial six-week shooting schedule in Mumbai from August 6, marking one of the film’s biggest production phases.

Producers reject remuneration reports for ‘SVC63’

In recent weeks, several reports claimed that Salman Khan’s fee for the film, tentatively titled ‘SVC63’, had undergone changes. However, the production house has now put an end to the speculation with an official statement. The makers described the circulating claims as “purely speculative and factually incorrect,” adding that their attention remains firmly on completing the film rather than responding to unverified reports. With the clarification issued, the production team has shifted focus back to filming as work on the ambitious action entertainer moves ahead at full pace.

Six-week Mumbai schedule begins for Salman Khan starrer

According to Mid-Day, reports suggest Vamshi Paidipally will commence a six-week shooting schedule in Mumbai on August 6, revising an earlier plan to film in Hyderabad. The upcoming leg is expected to continue through September and will feature three large-scale action sequences alongside elaborate crowd scenes involving hundreds of junior artistes. Reports suggest that crowd choreography is a key element of the action blocks, making the movement of background performers just as important as Salman’s stunt sequences.

Nayanthara and Rahul Dev to join cast

Reports further indicate that Nayanthara will join production during the Mumbai schedule after completing her prior commitments. Actor Rahul Dev has also reportedly been cast as one of the film’s primary antagonists and is expected to shoot alongside Salman during the upcoming schedule.

Action portions targeted for October completion

The makers are aiming to complete the major action portions by October, keeping the project on schedule for its planned Eid 2027 theatrical release. Apart from the film, Salman Khan is also expected to return to television with ‘Bigg Boss 20’, which is reportedly slated to premiere in September.
