The stock climbed to an intraday high of ₹632.25, also its record high, marking its biggest-ever intraday gain since listing in 2023. Shares were trading at ₹629.85, up 14.25%, as of 11:41 am.
At the current market price, the stock is trading 68.5% above its 52-week low of ₹375.30.
Record June-quarter performance
ASK Automotive reported its highest-ever quarterly financial performance, with consolidated net profit rising 28.8% year-on-year to ₹85.1 crore from ₹66.1 crore.Revenue from operations jumped 52.4% to ₹1,358.1 crore from ₹891.2 crore a year ago. Excluding the pass-through impact of higher alloy prices, revenue grew around 25% year-on-year.
Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) increased 34.3% to ₹160.6 crore from ₹119.6 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
However, EBITDA margin narrowed to 11.8% from 13.4%, with the company attributing the decline to the “abrupt and phenomenal pass-through” impact of higher alloy prices during the quarter.
The company reported broad-based growth across its major product segments.
Revenue from its Advanced Braking Systems business increased 48%, while the Aluminium Lightweight Precision segment recorded 75% growth. Revenue from Safety Control Cables rose 20%, while export revenue increased 18% year-on-year to ₹39 crore.
New product, renewable energy initiatives
During the quarter, ASK Automotive commenced commercial production of high-pressure die-cast (HPDC) alloy wheels for two-wheelers, marking its entry into a new product category.
The company also said its 11.55 MWp captive solar power plant in Rajasthan is expected to become operational during the second quarter of FY27 as part of its renewable energy and cost optimisation initiatives.
