SIS Q1 Results: Revenue climbs 30%, board approves ₹106 crore share buyback

SIS Ltd. reported a steady set of June-quarter earnings on Wednesday, delivering healthy revenue growth across its core businesses while announcing a ₹106 crore share buyback, a move that underlined management’s confidence in the company’s long-term prospects.

The integrated security and facility management services provider posted a 9.4% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹101.7 crore, while revenue rose 29.7% to ₹4,603.6 crore, reflecting robust growth across both its domestic and international security operations. EBITDA climbed 36.2% to ₹207.1 crore, with the operating margin improving marginally to 4.5% from 4.3% a year ago.

The strongest contribution came from the company’s Security Solutions businesses. Revenue from Security Solutions India increased to ₹2,004 crore, while Security Solutions International contributed ₹1,982 crore, highlighting sustained demand across its two largest segments. Facility Management Solutions also continued to grow, with revenue rising to ₹642 crore during the quarter.

Alongside the earnings, the board approved a share buyback worth up to ₹106 crore through the open market route at a maximum price of ₹478.50 per share. At the maximum buyback price, the company could repurchase up to 22.15 lakh shares, representing around 1.57% of its outstanding equity. The buyback is expected to open next week.

Group Managing Director Rituraj Kishore Sinha said FY27 is shaping up to be an inflection year, aided by the implementation of the new labour codes and continued operational execution. He added that, with the proposed buyback, SIS would have returned more than ₹700 crore to shareholders since its IPO, reinforcing the company’s commitment to capital allocation discipline.

Operationally, return ratios remained healthy, with return on capital employed at 16.7% and return on equity at 15.8%. Net debt edged up slightly during the quarter, while operating cash flow continued to remain positive.

SIS provides security, facility management and cash logistics services across India, Australia, New Zealand and several international markets.
