NBCC bags ₹801-crore orders from RBI, Odisha education authority

NBCC India secures ₹132 crore work orders across Assam and Odisha projects


State-owned NBCC (India) on Wednesday, August 5, said it has secured two domestic project management consultancy orders worth about ₹801.20 crore, excluding GST.

The larger order, valued at ₹780.38 crore, came from the Reserve Bank of India. This includes consultancy to construct an RBI office complex at Nelapadu and residential facilities for its officers and staff at Inavolu in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.

NBCC also received a ₹20.82-crore order from the Odisha School Education Programme Authority for constructing hostels under the DA-JGUA scheme across different districts of Odisha.

Execution timelines for both the orders were not disclosed.

Shares of the company closed at ₹96 apiece, up 1.22% for the day.

This is the third order the company got within a span of about two weeks.

The construction company has in its hands an agreement to execute a $75 million (around ₹650 crore) affordable housing project for the Government of Seychelles, signed on July 29. This includes building 1,008 affordable housing units at Île Aurore in Seychelles.

Before that, on July 24, NBCC (India) announced winning two orders worth roughly ₹108.85 crore (excluding Goods and Services Tax).

This includes an order from the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Odisha, Cuttack, valued at around ₹88.43 crore.
