Revenue increased 40.5% year-on-year to ₹946 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹673 crore in Q1 FY26. Revenue was above the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹866 crore.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 30.5% to ₹148 crore from ₹113 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA was above the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹130 crore.

EBITDA margin stood at 15.6% in Q1 FY27 compared with 16.8% in Q1 FY26. The margin was above the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of 15%.
Raw material costs increased 57% year-on-year to ₹620.5 crore from ₹395.6 crore, while employee expenses rose 44% to ₹85.1 crore from ₹58.9 crore. Other expenses declined 12% to ₹92.9 crore from ₹105.9 crore.
Depreciation and amortisation expense increased 137% to ₹37 crore from ₹15.6 crore. Other income declined 47% to ₹14.4 crore from ₹27.1 crore, while finance costs increased 31% to ₹37.1 crore from ₹28.4 crore. Total tax expenses rose 46% to ₹31.4 crore from ₹21.5 crore.
Kaynes Technology’s order book stood at ₹8,903.8 crore as of Q1 FY27, compared with ₹7,401.1 crore in Q1 FY26.

The company’s quarterly revenue mix remained diversified across sectors. Industrial accounted for 55% of Q1 FY27 revenue, automotive, including electric vehicles, contributed 26%, information technology, Internet of Things, consumer and other businesses accounted for 9%, railways 5%, medical 2%, and aerospace, outer space and strategic electronics 2%.
By business segment, original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-turnkey box-build solutions contributed 51% of Q1 FY27 revenue, original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-turnkey printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) contributed 23%, while original design manufacturing (ODM), product engineering and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions accounted for 25%.
Shares of Kaynes Technology India Ltd ended at ₹3,850.00, up by ₹28.00, or 0.73%, on the BSE.
