State-owned NLC India Ltd on Friday (August 7) reported a consolidated net profit of ₹484.2 crore for the first quarter of FY27, declining 39.3% compared with ₹797.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations increased 23.3% year-on-year to ₹4,716.7 crore from ₹3,825.6 crore in Q1 FY26.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 57.4% to ₹1,471.4 crore from ₹934.7 crore in the year-ago period. The EBITDA margin stood at 31.20% in Q1 FY27, compared with 24.43% in the same quarter last year.
NLC India is a Navratna company under the Ministry of Coal. Its core business is mining and power generation.Shares of NLC India Ltd ended at ₹302.00, down by ₹1.75, or 0.58%, on the BSE.
