Net profit rose 42.7% to ₹21.22 crore from ₹14.87 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue increased 37.3% to ₹127.91 crore, compared with ₹93.19 crore a year ago.
At the operating level, EBITDA grew 45.4% year-on-year to ₹31.91 crore, against ₹21.95 crore in the year-ago period. The EBITDA margin improved to 24.9% from 23.6%.
Shares of Paras Defence and Space Technologies were trading at around ₹1,279, down 2.9%, after the results.
Dividend, stake sale plans in focus
Alongside the quarterly numbers, the company has fixed August 28, 2026 as the record date for the proposed final dividend of ₹1 per equity share, subject to shareholder approval at the company’s 17th annual general meeting.
The dividend, if approved, will be paid within 30 days of the AGM.
The company has also proposed to divest its entire 47.5% equity stake in associate company Krasny Paras Defence Technologies, comprising 5,22,500 equity shares. Following the transaction, Krasny Paras will cease to be an associate of Paras Defence.
The development comes as the defence technology company continues to build out its semiconductor and advanced technology operations.₹6,200 crore semiconductor facility planned
In July, Paras Semiconductors, a subsidiary of Paras Defence, signed an MoU with the Madhya Pradesh Department of Science and Technology, acting on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation, to establish a greenfield advanced IC packaging OSAT facility in Madhya Pradesh.
The proposed facility will undertake advanced packaging technologies including 3D heterogeneous integration, 2.5D/3D advanced packaging, hybrid bonding, fan-out packaging, chiplet integration, wafer bumping, flip-chip assembly, testing and reliability.
The company plans to invest close to ₹6,200 crore over the course of setting up the facility, according to the filing.
In an interaction with CNBC-TV18 in July, Paras Defence management said the company is involved across the imagery systems value chain and is also working on opportunities in interceptor drones. It said the company is looking to develop systems that can adapt to changing defence requirements.
The company is also exploring partnerships with global players to increase reliance on defence technologies, while management clarified that it is not currently pursuing inorganic growth.
