Ahead of the trading session, SEBI-registered research analyst Kunal Bothra has recommended a few stocks that could potentially generate gains for investors during today’s session.

Ahead of today’s trading session on the NSE, the analyst has identified the following key support and resistance levels for the Nifty 50:

Asian Markets Today

Asian markets traded mixed on Friday (August 7), with major indices showing varied trends.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 slipped over 2 per cent to 66,920. South Korea’s KOSPI traded about 1 per cent higher at 6,314.49, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng edged 0.7 per cent higher to 25,857.50.

Meanwhile, China’s Shanghai Composite rose 0.2 per cent to 3,948.76.

Indian benchmark indices closed lower on Friday, ending a two-day recovery. The Sensex fell 455.59 points to 78,499.17, while the Nifty declined 65.35 points to close at 24,570.65.

The indices were dragged down by losses in bank and financial stocks, while crude oil prices remained above the USD 80-per-barrel mark.
