Stocks to watch today, August 11: Indian equities are likely to remain focused on company-specific developments, with quarterly results and corporate announcements driving stock moves.

Vodafone Idea, PC Jeweller, Gland Pharma and Lloyds Metals are among companies reporting key earnings updates. KEC International and Bosch also posted quarterly results.

Meanwhile, BSE is set to enter the Nifty 50, replacing Wipro, while Jupiter Wagons secured projects worth around Rs 400 crore and Bharat Electronics received additional orders worth Rs 541 crore.

Loss Narrows

Vodafone Idea’s loss narrowed to Rs 3,754 crore from Rs 6,608 crore, while revenue grew 6 per cent to Rs 11,689 crore from Rs 11,023 crore.

Profit Jumps

PC Jeweller’s profit jumped 37.2 per cent to Rs 222.2 crore from Rs 161.9 crore, while revenue increased 21 per cent to Rs 877 crore.

Profit Surges

Gland Pharma’s profit surged 47.1 per cent to Rs 317 crore from Rs 215.5 crore. Revenue grew 19.6 per cent to Rs 1,800.3 crore.

Profit Soars

Lloyds Metals and Energy’s profit surged 165 per cent to Rs 1,726.6 crore from Rs 651.9 crore. Revenue jumped 209 per cent to Rs 7,354.4 crore.

Profit Falls

KEC International reported a 41 per cent fall in net profit to Rs 73 crore. Revenue remained flat at Rs 5,024 crore against Rs 5,023 crore.

Bosch

Profit Declines

Bosch reported a 36.8 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 704.9 crore. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 5,841.9 crore.

Office Space Acquisition in Mumbai

Brookfield India REIT and NCW’s Prime Offices Fund acquired 2.64 lakh sq ft of office space in Mumbai for an enterprise value of Rs 1,700 crore.

ITC

Rural Development

ITC signed an agreement with Swarna Andhra P4 Foundation to adopt 100 villages across nine districts to promote inclusive rural development across the state.

Rs 400 Crore Orders

Jupiter Wagons secured two battery energy storage system projects worth around Rs 400 crore from the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company.

BSE

To Enter Nifty 50

BSE will be included in the benchmark Nifty 50 index, replacing Wipro, as part of the periodic review by NSE Indices.

Lupin

USFDA Approval

Lupin received US health regulator approval for its generic sodium zirconium cyclosilicate oral suspension, indicated for treating high potassium levels in adults.

Steel Output Rises

JSW Steel reported a 3 per cent rise in consolidated crude steel production to 24.02 lakh tonnes in July.

Rs 541 Crore Orders

Bharat Electronics secured additional orders worth Rs 541 crore since July 31.
