Thalapathy Vijay’s much awaited film ‘Jana Nayagan’ was released in theaters on July 23. The film remains a special outing as it is his last cinematic venture. Now in its third mid-week, the movie is experiencing one of the lowest daily collections after a grand entry in the cinema halls. Here’s a look at the latest live box-office numbers.Jana Nayagan Movie ReviewAs per the live estimates shared by Sacnilk, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is currently running across 820 shows with 10.1% occupancy and has collected a net of Rs 13 lakhs so far.The numbers tracking website further reveals that ‘Jana Nayagan’ had an overall occupancy of 11.08% today in the morning.‘Jana Nayagan’ has taken its total India net collection to Rs 193.18 crore. The film’s India gross collection has also climbed to Rs 225.04 crore.The live numbers of the Tamil version shows that it has made Rs 11 lakh with 556 shows. On the other hand, the Hindi version made Rs 2 lakh from 264 shows.
Global collection
The movie has also maintained a decent run in the overseas markets so far. According to the trade analyst site, ‘Jana Nayagan’ on Monday made Rs 5 lakh on Day 19 which brought its total overseas gross to Rs 93.20 crore till the weekend. The film’s worldwide collection now stands at Rs 318.09 crore.During its first week the film made over Rs 153.55 crore. Later, the collections dropped as it the second week’s numbers show it made over Rs 31.60 crore. Now as the film is in its third week, on Friday it collected a crore, then made Rs 2.55 crore on Saturday and Rs 3.60 crore on Sunday. On Monday it made Rs 75 lakh.

Directed by H Vinoth, the film is a political action drama which shows Vijay’s character by the name Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a former official who adopts a young girl named Viji.
