According to PIB Fact Check, the advertisement claims that investors can earn ₹5.5 lakh every week by making an initial investment of just ₹22,000. The fact-checking agency said the claim is fake and that the video has been created using artificial intelligence (AI).

PIB Fact Check clarified that neither Nirmala Sitharaman nor the Government of India has endorsed, authorised or promoted any such investment scheme or platform.
The agency warned that scammers often use AI-generated videos, fabricated endorsements and promises of extraordinary returns to deceive people into fraudulent investment schemes. It urged people to verify such claims through official sources before investing money or sharing personal or financial information.
The warning comes as manipulated content and fabricated endorsements can be used to make fraudulent investment offers appear legitimate. PIB Fact Check advised people to remain cautious when encountering advertisements that promise unusually high returns or feature endorsements from public figures.
The agency also urged people to help stop misinformation and online fraud by reporting suspicious or manipulated content to PIB Fact Check.
