Stocks to watch today, August 17: Investors will track a host of quarterly updates and corporate developments. PhysicsWallah, Ashok Leyland, Voltas, NMDC, Cochin Shipyard and Patanjali Foods will remain in focus after reporting their Q1 FY27 results.
On the corporate front, Lodha Developers, Indian Bank, ONGC, Dixon Technologies, Ather Energy, HAL, Reliance Industries and Vedanta could also attract attention following key project launches, fundraising plans, partnerships, regulatory developments and business wins.

Loss narrows, revenue jumps
Loss narrowed to Rs 77.6 crore from Rs 120.5 crore, while revenue surged 24.4 per cent YoY to Rs 1,054 crore from Rs 847.1 crore.
Q1 profit rises 2.6 per cent
Q1 FY27 net profit rose 2.59 per cent YoY to Rs 609 crore, while revenue from operations increased 10.4 per cent to Rs 9,634 crore.
Voltas
Profit jumps 52 per cent
Q1 profit surged 52.2 per cent YoY to Rs 213.8 crore from Rs 140.5 crore, while revenue rose 18.7 per cent to Rs 4,673.5 crore.
NMDC
Profit, revenue edge higher
Q1 standalone net profit rose 2 per cent YoY to Rs 2,007 crore, while revenue from operations increased 2.4 per cent to Rs 6,795 crore.
Q1 consolidated net profit declined 19.4 per cent YoY to Rs 151.45 crore, while revenue from operations rose 2.4 per cent to Rs 1,094.21 crore.
Gross profit rises 35 per cent
Q1 gross profit rose 35.2 per cent YoY to Rs 1,521.97 crore, with a 13.42 per cent margin. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 11,337.45 crore.
Rs 24,000 crore project pipeline
Lodha Developers plans to launch 21 housing projects by March 2027, with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 24,000 crore.
Plans USD 400 million ECB
Indian Bank plans to raise USD 400 million through ECB this week, targeting USD 1 billion by December 2026. It also aims for USD 2 billion in FCNR(B) deposits.
ONGC
Gets US licence for Venezuela
ONGC has secured an OFAC licence allowing it to resume full operations in Venezuela, easing sanctions-related restrictions on its activities.
Issues USD 220 million guarantee
Dixon Technologies issued an irrevocable corporate guarantee of USD 220 million, or about Rs 2,101 crore, for subsidiary Padget Electronics in favour of Lenovo Ireland.
Shareholders approve Rs 1,200 crore issue
Ather Energy shareholders approved a Rs 1,200 crore preferential issue, with 97.72 per cent of votes cast supporting the resolution.

Partners with Adani Defence, BEML
HAL partnered with Adani Defence Systems and Technologies and BEML to manufacture fuselage structures for the Prachand Light Combat Helicopter.
Rolls-Royce pact for AMCA engine
Reliance Industries and Rolls-Royce intend to jointly develop a sovereign combat engine for India’s Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft programme.
