JioBlackRock Mutual Fund: Regular plans launched; investors can buy through distributors


JioBlackRock Mutual Fund: JioBlackRock Asset Management, the 50:50 joint venture between Jio Financial Services and BlackRock, has launched Regular Plans across its eligible mutual fund schemes, giving investors another route to access the fund house’s investment offerings.

With the launch of Regular Plans, investors can now invest in eligible JioBlackRock mutual fund schemes through registered mutual fund distributors. The move expands the company’s distribution reach and strengthens its engagement with India’s growing financial advice ecosystem.

JioBlackRock Mutual Fund Regular Plans

Since launching its mutual fund business, JioBlackRock Asset Management has focused on providing a digital investing experience for investors. The introduction of Regular Plans now adds a distributor-led channel to its existing offerings.

Under the Regular Plan route, investors can access JioBlackRock’s eligible schemes through empanelled mutual fund distributors.

Sid Swaminathan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, JioBlackRock Asset Management, said the move is aimed at giving investors greater choice while strengthening the company’s distributor partnerships.

“The introduction of Regular Plans is an important step in broadening access to our solutions, giving investors greater choice in how they invest while enabling us to partner more closely with India’s vibrant distribution ecosystem,” Swaminathan said.

JioBlackRock expands distribution network

The company said the introduction of Regular Plans will allow it to serve investors through multiple channels while partnering with India’s growing financial advice ecosystem.

JioBlackRock said mutual fund distributors can digitally empanel through its dedicated online portal, which is designed to provide a faster and simpler onboarding process.

Rajiv Chhabria, Chief Business Officer, JioBlackRock Asset Management, said distributors continue to play a central role in expanding mutual fund participation across India.

“India’s mutual fund industry is entering a new phase of growth, driven by increasing investor awareness, rising participation and deeper penetration across cities and towns,” Chhabria said.

He added that the company plans to build long-term partnerships with distributors and make its investment solutions accessible to a broader set of investors.

JioBlackRock Asset Management is a 50:50 joint venture between Jio Financial Services and BlackRock. The asset manager has been building its mutual fund business with a focus on providing digital and investor-centric investment solutions.

The company has also expanded its product offerings, including the launch of the JioBlackRock Nifty 50 ETF.
