The floor price for the transaction has been set at ₹550 per share, a discount of up to 4.6% to Amagi Media Labs’ closing price of ₹576.45, sources said. The sellers in the block deal are Trudy Holdings, AVP I Fund and Accel. The sellers will be subject to a 90-day lock-up period following the transaction.
In May this year, Amagi Media Labs said it sees India as an important growth market over the long term and artificial intelligence becoming an important part of its next growth phase.

Amagi has started shifting investments towards AI-led initiatives and recently announced its first AI customer, signalling an early push into generative AI infrastructure.
Baskar Subramanian, Co-Founder & CEO of Amagi Media Labs, said, “We already have customers in India; we continue to see the expansions today, but it’s really in single digits at this point in time.”
Amagi expects India’s contribution to grow meaningfully over time, supported by rising cloud adoption and increasing streaming consumption, even as the US remains its largest market.

The company has consistently delivered net revenue retention (NRR) levels of around 125–126%, which remains higher than the global benchmark for subscription technology businesses. The company would like to maintain its current performance but sees 115% as a healthy long-term level.
The United States continues to be Amagi’s biggest market, contributing nearly 73% of revenue. According to management, the US media and advertising market remains significantly larger than other regions, giving the company enough room to expand.
Shares of Amagi Media Labs Ltd ended at ₹576.00, up by ₹19.20, or 3.45%, on the BSE.
