With this, the stock has also surged to the highest level in 2026. The last instance of the stock closing above the mark of ₹3,000 per share was back in December 2025.
How Did CarTrade Tech Shares Fare In Q1?
CarTrade Tech reported its June quarter results towards the end of July during which the company’s revenue had increased by 16% from last year to ₹201.2 crore from ₹173 crore earlier.
Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter rose by 45% on a year-on-year basis to ₹63 crore, while margins expanded by 600 basis points to 31.3% from 25.1% in the year-ago period.
At the end of the June quarter, CarTrade Tech does not have any classified promoter, and the entire shareholding belongs to public shareholders.
India’s domestic mutual funds have a 10.99% stake in the company at the end of the June quarter, led by Helios Flexi Cap Fund (1.13%) and Tata Mutual Fund (5.79%).
Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) held over 54% stake in the company at the end of the June quarter, which included the M&G Asian Fund (2.38%), Smallcap World Fund (3.26%), and Jupiter India Fund (3.16%) among many others.
As many as 1.4 lakh small retail shareholders or those with authorized share capital of up to ₹2 lakh, had a 13.72% stake in the company.
Out of the 10 analysts who have coverage on CarTrade Tech, eight have a “buy” rating on the stock, while two have a “sell” rating.
The company’s shares have closed in the green in 6 out of the past 10 sessions. Close to 12 lakh shares have been traded so far.

This is the biggest single-day gain that the stock has seen in nearly a month. In the past 6 months of trading, the stock has advanced over 55%. The stock is now closing in on its 52-week high of ₹3,290.
