The two-time Olympic medallist heads into the contest after winning silver at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The biggest challenge for Chopra is expected to come from Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage, who has emerged as the breakthrough performer in men’s javelin this season.
