The Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers are set to square off at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, as part of the 2026 Little League Classic.
Before taking the field, players from both MLB teams will have an opportunity to attend the Little League World Series and watch some of the tournament’s action.
The LLWS players will then get the chance to watch the Major League stars compete in the ninth edition of the annual Williamsport game.
The Braves are no strangers to playing through difficult weather conditions. More than a year ago, Atlanta battled rainy conditions in Bristol, Tennessee, to defeat the Cincinnati Reds in the Speedway Classic.
This time, the Braves will head to Pennsylvania for another unique baseball event.
Could rain delay Braves vs Brewers?
Sunday’s Little League Classic is scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m. ET.
Weather concerns are always something to monitor before an outdoor game, but conditions in Williamsport currently appear favorable.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the mid-60s, while the chance of rain is below 15%, suggesting that a significant weather-related delay is unlikely.
Braves seek bounceback in Williamsport
The matchup comes after Atlanta and Milwaukee met in the first two games of their series in Milwaukee on Friday and Saturday. The Braves dropped both contests and will now try to prevent the Brewers from completing a sweep of the series.

Williamsport will be the fourth different city Atlanta has visited this week. The Braves have also played in Minneapolis and Chicago, while what was originally scheduled to be a Thursday travel day was changed after earlier weather disruptions forced a schedule adjustment in June.
Braves, Brewers make Classic debut
The Little League Classic is held annually in Williamsport, the home of the Little League World Series, with the MLB game taking place alongside the youth tournament. This year’s LLWS is scheduled to continue through Aug. 30.
The event is designed to introduce more young fans to baseball by bringing Major League players and Little League participants together. The concept is somewhat similar to MLB’s Field of Dreams Game, which was held in Iowa earlier this month.
The participating MLB teams change each year, and the 2026 edition marks the first Little League Classic appearance for both the Braves and Brewers.

As has become tradition, the game will take place at Bowman Field, a century-old ballpark with a seating capacity of just 2,366, providing a setting unlike a typical Major League stadium.
