Should you subscribe to Hy-Tech Engineers IPO?

Additionally, following the strong subscription and GMP trends, the brokerage also believes that the issue is a good fit for long-term investors. SMIFS Research has shared its recommendation, citing the company’s strong positioning in India’s growing hydraulic fittings market.

The brokerage highlighted positives including a 95.1 per cent repeat-customer revenue share, backward-integrated manufacturing, certifications for the defence and railway sectors, improving margins and deleveraging, and planned capacity expansion.

However, risks include mixed capacity utilisation across plants, dependence on Nashik for forged components, the absence of firm long-term customer purchase commitments, and related-party dependence through Hy-Tech USA. SMIFS has given the IPO a “SUBSCRIBE” rating.
