He further added, “We are all obsessed with her. We were reminded again why we all loved Mallika Sherawat. She was a fierce actor who was not afraid to take up the toughest, bold roles. As a person, she was always very cool and opinionated. She was not afraid of her opinions. She has achieved so much in her life. She is at that moment where she knows what she says, where to say it, and how it will be highlighted. She knows how her statements will make headlines, and that’s what happened after the first three episodes.”

Harman Singha further weighed in on the rivalry between Munawar Faruqui and Abhishek Malhan, which extended beyond the show. He said the duo brought a “Bigg Boss energy” to the game, adding, “That kind of energy is not needed on this show. Your 99 percent focus should be on the game. They brought energy from the other show, where groupism is too much. There you attack people and question their upbringing. Traitors is not that game. You cannot comment on each other’s fans, but I understand that controversies thrive in India, and the more noise you make, the more attention you get. Other shows encourage you to be vile. When you structure conflict as a social experiment, it puts you into that zone. You cannot have a fake personality on any of these reality shows. Shalini Passi was all pure; she is an amazing human being.”

Harman gives a sneak peek into the world of The Traitors

Harman Singha also pulled back the curtain on The Traitors, revealing the elaborate measures in place to keep the game and its secrets under wraps. He said, “The contract for the Traitors is scary. Once you are on the shoot, there are around 300-400 people, including 21 contestants. If one of them also leaks the secret, the game will be over. The way the show is shot is unbelievable. The hotel is converted into secret tunnels and has hidden cameras. The contestants have no idea. There is a different world for the innocents. The traitors are taken out of their rooms at night. Their rooms are separate from the rest, and they keep rotating. When they take you to the room from the set, it’s one way, and they take different routes so that no one sees you. The contract is very dangerous. We were told that the game will only work if we maintain secrecy. The crew has to take an oath in real life. I didn’t tell my parents or even Rannvijay that I was the traitor until the show was telecast.”

Harman further added, “There are wind chimes outside your room. You cannot open the door once you are inside the room. And you cannot go to your room when you are shooting the entire day. It eats you up after a point. You cannot talk to anyone once you are inside the room. There is no internet, music, or even TV. You only keep thinking about the game and your actions. The cameras are everywhere in the palace. Crew members are stationed outside the washroom too. They let you go to the washroom one by one. Only when the other person walks away to a distance is the other person allowed to go.”

“Even for lunch, contestants go in groups of 3-4 people, and one person is stationed there. Two contestants are never taken together, even for video diaries. If you get evicted either on the Circle of Shaq or through murder, you cannot meet other contestants. Your luggage will be sent by the shadow. You are immediately taken out of the palace to another hotel. You have to leave the premises in the next 10-15 minutes without your phone or anything. The minute you are out of the game, you are out of that world. The shoot is around 10-12 days, and the day I got eliminated, I was home the next day,” he concluded.
