Block Deals: Shares of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company and Aye Finance are in focus as existing shareholders are looking to sell stakes through block deals, according to sources cited by ET NOW.
Prudential Corp to sell around 2% stake in ICICI Prudential AMC
Prudential Corp Holdings is looking to sell around 2% stake in ICICI Prudential AMC through a block deal, sources said.
The promoter is looking to sell around 98.85 lakh shares at an offer price of Rs 2,998-3,158 per share. The total deal size is estimated at Rs 2,964-3,122 crore across the offer price range.
The offer price represents a discount of around 2-7% to ICICI Prudential AMC’s last closing price of Rs 3,222.80 on the NSE.
Prudential Corp holds a 34.6% stake in the company as of June 30, 2026.
Following the transaction, Prudential Corp will be subject to a 60-day lock-up on its remaining stake. The lock-up is subject to a permitted disposal of up to 0.6% stake.
Separately, Alpha Wave India LP is looking to sell up to a 7.8% stake in Aye Finance through a block deal, sources said.
The selling shareholder is looking to sell up to 1.92 crore shares at a floor price of Rs 167 per share. The transaction size is estimated at up to Rs 320.4 crore at the floor price.
The floor price of Rs 167 represents a discount to Aye Finance’s last closing price of Rs 176.65 on the NSE.
Alpha Wave India LP is the sole selling shareholder in the transaction and held a 7.8% stake in Aye Finance as of June 30, 2026.
