Deepa Jewellers Limited has set the price band for its much-anticipated initial public offering (IPO), set to launch next week. The jewellery retailer plans to raise Rs 459.72 crore through a combination of a fresh issue and an offer for sale (OFS).

Deepa Jewellers has fixed a price band of Rs 168-177 per equity share for the public issue.

Deepa Jewellers IPO opening and closing dates

Deepa Jewellers IPO will open for bidding on Tuesday, September 1 and close on Thursday, September 3. The company’s anchor book is scheduled to open on August 31, a day before the launch of the public issue.

The share allotment is expected to be finalised on September 4, while the shares of the company are tentatively scheduled to list on both the leading stock exchanges – NSE and BSE – on September 8.

The IPO will have an overall issue size of Rs 459.72 crore, comprising a fresh issue of 14,124,293 shares worth Rs 250 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 11,848,340 shares worth Rs 209.72 crore.

The equity shares will have a face value of Rs 2 per share.

Deepa Jewellers IPO lot size, minimum investment

The lot size for Deepa Jewellers IPO is 84 shares. The minimum amount of investment required by a retail investor is Rs 14,868 (84 shares), according to the upper price band of the issue.

Deepa Jewellers IPO reservation

A total of 35 per cent of the issue has been reserved for retail investors while 15 per cent for high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and 50 per cent for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), including the anchor portion.

For small HNIs, classified as applications between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 10 lakh, the minimum bid is 1,176 shares, requiring an investment of Rs 208,152 at the upper price band. For large HNIs, or applications above Rs 10 lakh, the minimum bid is 5,712 shares, amounting to Rs 10.11 lakh.

The retail portion comprises approximately 9.09 million shares worth Rs 160.9 crore, while the HNI portion accounts for approximately 3.90 million shares worth Rs 68.96 crore.
