Skipper shares rise 3% as company bags ₹1,305 crore orders for T&D projects

The shares of Skipper rose over 3% on Thursday, August 27, after the company announced that it has bagged multiple orders amounting to ₹1,305 crore.

In an exchange filing issued on August 27, the company said that it has bagged several domestic and international orders for transmission and distribution projects.

These projects entail the supply of transmission towers and monopoles for T&D projects in North American markets. The company also said that it has secured two 765 kV transmission line projects from a domestic developer.

About the order wins, Sharan Bansal, Director of Skipper Limited, said, “We are particularly encouraged by the renewed momentum in our export business, with orders from developed markets gaining traction in line with our expectations. The breadth of these orders further strengthens our diversified T&D portfolio and reinforces our position as a trusted partner for complex power infrastructure projects across geographies.”

Previously, while speaking to CNBC-TV18, Sharan Bansal had said that the company retained its current FY27 guidance of 15% revenue growth and 30% profit growth despite reporting single-digit growth in the April-June 2026 quarter, with the company expecting export shipments to normalise in the coming quarters.

He underscored that the weak first-quarter performance was largely due to the timing of export shipments disrupted by geopolitical developments. He added that the company continues to see margin expansion.

The company’s shares have eased after rising over 3%; they have risen over 6% in the past year of trade. The stock is green after two consecutive days in the red. The stock closed in the green in 7 out of the past 10 sessions. The stock price at ₹560 is slightly short of the 52-week high of ₹593 per share.
