Odisha releases fifth instalment of Subhadra Yojana: How to check if you received ₹5,000

The latest payment was made on August 28. Of the total beneficiaries, 2.21 lakh women received assistance under the scheme for the first time.

Subhadra Yojana: How much money do women get?

The scheme provides ₹10,000 a year to eligible women in two instalments of ₹5,000 each. One instalment is released around Raksha Bandhan and the other on International Women’s Day.

Over five years, eligible beneficiaries can receive a total of ₹50,000 under the scheme.

How to check Subhadra Yojana payment

Since the latest instalment has been transferred through DBT, beneficiaries can check their bank account statement, passbook or transaction alerts to confirm the ₹5,000 credit.

If the amount has not been received, beneficiaries should check whether the bank account linked to their application is active and whether their DBT-related banking details are in order.

The Subhadra Yojana was launched in Odisha on September 17, 2024. The state government has positioned it as a key financial assistance scheme for eligible women.Separately, the Odisha government has also signed six MoUs aimed at strengthening digital agriculture and farmer livelihoods. The agreements include a partnership with the Department of Posts to use its network of Gramin Dak Sevaks for farmer registration and digital services, including AgriStack enrolment, CM-Kisan registration, PM-Kisan e-KYC and Aadhaar seeding.
