Engineers India shares jump to 52-week high after 17% rally in three sessions


Shares of Engineers India extended their gains for the third consecutive day, rising nearly 11% to hit a fresh 52-week high on Tuesday, September 1.

This is its biggest single-day gain since February 16, when the stock had surged 12.37% after rising over 11% in the prior trade session. It later also witnessed a 10% surge on April 1.

Shares of Engineers India have risen 17.3% over three consecutive sessions. The stock gained 10.6% to hit a fresh 52-week high of ₹289.65 apiece on Tuesday.

The company’s shares have risen 24% in the past month and have gained up to 41% in 2026, so far. The stock has gained 42% over the trailing 12-month period.

More than 3 crore shares of the company changed hands during intraday trade, with volume running at 11.33 times the stock’s 10-day average.

Engineers India Ltd (EIL) is a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) engineering consultancy and project management company established in 1965, primarily dealing in oil and gas, and petrochemicals.

Last month, the comapny’s chairman and managing director Atul Gupta told CNBC-TV18 that the company was targeting 10% revenue growth in the financial year 2027, while maintaining operating margins of 14-16%.

He said the company expected to sustain these margins through the year and aimed to exceed market expectations of ₹7,000-8,000 crore in FY27 order inflows as its diversification efforts gained pace.

The company also planned to expand beyond its traditional oil and gas business into metals, nuclear energy, infrastructure, data centres, fertilisers and maritime projects.

Engineers India Ltd will hold its 61st Annual General Meeting on September 18, 2026, at 11 am through video conference, according to a regulatory filing on Monday August 31.
