The mutual fund, which launched its first equity scheme in November 2023, reached the milestone within three years of starting operations.
The fund house added ₹5,000 crore to its AUM between April and August 2026. Its AUM had crossed ₹10,000 crore in April 2026, after rising from ₹5,000 crore in August 2025.
As of August 25, equity-oriented schemes accounted for the bulk of Helios Mutual Fund’s assets, with an AUM of around ₹14,356 crore, or more than 95% of the total. Hybrid schemes accounted for approximately ₹425 crore, while debt-oriented schemes had around ₹285 crore.
The fund house’s AUM stood at ₹670 crore in November 2023. It crossed ₹1,000 crore in February 2024, ₹2,000 crore in June 2024 and ₹3,000 crore in November 2024. The AUM reached ₹4,000 crore in April 2025 and ₹5,000 crore in August 2025.
The latest increase has come amid volatility in equity markets and global uncertainty, including developments in the West Asia, the fund house said.
Helios Mutual Fund said it currently caters to investors across more than 15,000 pin codes through its branch and distribution network. Its distribution network includes more than 18,900 mutual fund distributors, 26 banks and 380 national and regional distribution partners.Despite the wider distribution footprint, the majority of the fund house’s AUM comes from the largest cities. The top five cities account for 86% of its AUM, followed by 9% from the next 10 cities, 3% from the next 20 cities and 2% from the next 75 cities.
Helios Mutual Fund had a team of more than 100 people in 2026. The fund house said its founder Samir Arora, MD and CEO Dinshaw Irani and senior members of its investment team have more than three decades of experience each in investing in Indian equities.
